FAVBET Super League matches will be held in all cities except Krivoy Rog, and in Zaporozhye they will be played without spectators

Official information has appeared about the cities that will host basketball matches. Superleague FAVBET-2024/25as well as the admission of fans to the stands.

Championship matches will take place in almost all cities whose clubs are represented in the elite division, except for Krivoy Rog. At the same time, in Zaporozhye, for security reasons, matches will be held without spectators. The Secretary General of the Ukrainian Basketball Federation, Vladimir Drabikovsky, spoke about this:

“In Kyiv, the games will be held with spectators, but in Zaporozhye the games will be without spectators, because the situation in this city is now difficult. There are shelters there, so the match participants will be able to go down there if necessary, but, unfortunately, this is impossible with spectators in Zaporozhye. In other cities, matches will be held with spectators. Matches will not be played only in Krivoy Rog, but all other championship participants will host Super League tours.”

Let us remind you that the FAVBET-2024/25 Basketball Super League was supposed to officially start on Wednesday, October 2, however, due to the withdrawal of the Odessa BIPA from the tournament, changes occurred in the calendar, and the start was postponed to October 3.

Kyiv-Basket, Stary Lutsk, Prykarpattya-Hoverla and BC Rivne will play in the first game group. The teams will play four matches in Kyiv at Veneto-Sport on October 3 and 4. Cherkassy Mavpy, who were originally supposed to perform in the Kiev bubble, will go to Zaporozhye. There the team will meet with Dnepr, Krivbass and Zaporozhye. The Zaporizhzhya bubble fights will take place on October 5-6.

Last season, Dnepr became the winner of the Super League, beating BC Rivne in the final. The Dnipro team achieved a golden double, having previously won the Ukrainian Cup.
