The 26-year-old Portuguese man was taken to the police station and questioned, and a few hours later he was released on bail for a court hearing.

According to the police, Nunez stole the cellphone of the 58-year-old man in the restroom of the nightclub. What preceded this event is still unclear.
Several witnesses indicated that the alleged victim tried to take a picture of the player in the bathroom, and the player became very angry, took his mobile phone from him and said that he would not give it to him because he took the picture without permission.
According to another version, the alleged victim grabbed the player in the bathroom while holding the phone, and Matheus became angry and took the phone, thinking the man had taken a picture of him.
Because of this, the victim reported the stolen phone to the police. The police arrived at the scene and found that Nunez was holding the cell phone. After collecting testimony from the victim, the football player was handcuffed. It was noted that the football player behaved very impudently with the police.
Let’s remember that on September 14, Nunez took part in the fourth round match of the Premier League against Brentford, coming on as a substitute in the 90th+2nd minute.
The Portuguese will soon be charged and await trial.
