RB Leipzig lost on home field Juventus in the second round Champions League 2024/25 – 2:3.
The Bulls opened the scoring in the middle of the first half, Benjamin Sheshko scored. The Bianconeri were able to come back just after the break thanks to a goal from Dusan Vlahovic.
After some time, Juventus remained in the minority; Michele Di Gregorio received a red card. Leipzig took advantage and took the lead – Sheshko converted the penalty. However, just three minutes later, Vlahovic scored a double. And towards the end of the meeting, Francisco Conceicao had already brought the guests ahead.
RB Leipzig remains without points. In the third round of the Champions League, the Bulls will host Liverpool on October 23.
Juventus is among the leaders of the overall 2024/25 Champions League standings with six points. The Bianconeri’s next opponent in the European Cup will be Stuttgart.
