Shovkovsky: We will try to do everything possible to be better in the next Europa League matches

The coach of the Kiev team, commenting on the unsatisfactory result in the League of Legends, emphasized that “in our country it’s not just about football”

Head coach Dynamo Alexander Shovkovsky commented on the defeat from Hoffenheim (0:2) in the second round Europa League.

“In short, we didn’t score a single goal and conceded two. If you want a long analysis, it will take me half an hour.”

“For us to be here is a great success. We play against teams with some of the best players in the world. We prepare for all matches and try our best to improve. But you also have to understand that in our country it’s not just about football.”

“We’re doing our best and it’s great that we can get this experience of playing against a team from one of the top five leagues in Europe. They are a very good team and we will try our best to be better in the next Europa League matches.”

Let us remind you that Dynamo lost to the representative of the German Bundesliga in the away match, conceding a goal in each half. Czech forward Adam Glozek scored a double. During the entire match, the Kiev team made only one shot at the opponent’s goal – it was scored by Vladimir Brazhko in the 12th minute.

Dynamo suffered a second European Cup defeat in a row and in the general stage of the Europa League remains without points with a goal difference of 0:5. In the third round, the Kiev team will play away against Artem Dovbik’s Roma on October 24.
