Ingulets continues to be the only club in the UPL that does not know the taste of victory this season
The match of the 9th round took place in Lviv UPL — Carpathians painted a draw against Ingulets (0:0).
Despite the lack of goals scored, the match was not without dangerous moments near the goal of both teams. In the 43rd minute, Ingulets could have opened the scoring, but Stanislav-Nuri Malysh’s header hit the woodwork of the Karpaty goal. In the opening of the second half, the Lviv team themselves could have scored, but Ambrosiy Chachua’s shot after a cross from Oleg Ocheretko also hit the visitors’ goal frame.
In the 82nd minute, Karpaty received the right to take a penalty kick – Brazilian forward Igor Neves approached the point and could not beat Inhulets goalkeeper Alexey Palamarchuk.
As a result, Vladislav Lupashko was unable to beat his former club at the head of the Carpathians. The Lviv team now has 10 points – they occupy 10th place in the standings.
Ingulets continues to be the only club in the UPL that has not yet tasted victory this season. Vasily Kobin’s team has 5 draws in 9 matches played. Let us remind you that Ingulets played all these 9 matches away due to problems with the commissioning of the new club stadium in Petrov.
Karpaty will hold their next match on October 21 – the Lviv derby against Rukh awaits Lupashko’s team. On October 20, Ingulets will face LNZ on the road.
