Dynamo defeated Krivbass and took sole lead in the UPL

The Kyiv club managed to beat their rivals from Krivoy Rog at home in a tough encounter.

Dynamo once again topped the UPL standings, now alone. It happened after the matches of the ninth round of the Premier League.

The previous day, Alexander Shokovsky’s team beat Krivbass with a score of 2:1, while Alexandria, who previously shared first place with the Kiev team, lost points the previous day in the game against Rukh – 1: 1.

The opponents scored all the goals in the match in the capital of Ukraine in the first half. Dynamo opened the scoring in the fifth minute, when Valentin Rubchinsky, completing a groping cross from the right side, beat the defender, but he himself successfully played the finishing touch.

And the “white-blues” managed to double their lead midway through the half. Denis Kuzik played in the penalty area with his hand – the Kievans had the right to a penalty kick, which was converted by Vitaliy Buyalsky.

The visitors managed to pull one goal back thanks to an own goal before the break. Taras Mikhavko, after serving from a free kick from the left side, cut the ball into his own goal.

Dynamo scored 22 points and is in first place, Krivbass is in eighth position with 11 points.
