Militao suffered a muscle injury – the recovery process will take about 10 days

The Brazilian may have time to recover in time for the next La Liga match against Celta Vigo, which will take place on October 19

Defender Reala Eder Militao underwent a medical examination, during which he was diagnosed with an injury to the quadriceps muscle of his left leg.

According to Spanish journalist Ruiz Melchor, the restoration of Militao will take about 10 days. The Brazilian center back has a chance to recover for Real’s next match against Celta Vigo.

In recent weeks, Blancos have been plagued by a series of injuries. The main goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois missed the last two matches (who should have time to recover for the next match), winger Vinicius Junior suffered a cervical injury in the game against Villarreal, and defender Dani Carvajal even suffered a cruciate ligament injury, leaving him out for the rest of the season.

Thus, Militao will miss Brazil’s matches in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup against Chile (October 11) and Peru (October 16). It was previously reported that Vinicius Junior will also not be able to help the Selecao in these fights.

In total, this season Eder Militao played 11 matches for Real Madrid in all tournaments, recording one goal and one assist each.

Real will play their next match against Celta Vigo in La Liga on October 19.
