Klopp will take up the role of Global Head of Football at Red Bull from 1 January

Jurgen has secured a clause for himself to leave if he gets the opportunity to lead the German national team

Former Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp will take the position Global Head of Football V Red Bull from January 1, 2025.

The ex-coach will advise all Red Bull teams (Leipzig, Salzburg, New York, etc.) on coaching, playing philosophy, development and transfer of talent/head coaches and other issues. The company’s management deliberately worked to invite Klopp.

At the same time, Jurgen provided himself with the opportunity to leave early in his long-term contract. This will happen if he gets the opportunity to lead the German national team after Julian Nagelsmann.

Klopp left Liverpool at the end of the 2023/24 season. The German took a break from coaching and rejected several offers, in particular from the US national team.

Klopp has been in charge of Liverpool since 2015. With him, the Merseysiders won the English League Cup twice, the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the FA Super Cup once each. In the 2018/19 season, Liverpool triumphed in the Champions League, after which they won the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup.

In nine seasons, Liverpool with Klopp reached the Champions League final three times and the Europa League final once. The coach himself was twice recognized as FIFA coach of the year and twice became coach of the season in the Premier League.
