The 26-year-old winger left the field on a stretcher after colliding with Czech Republic captain Tomas Soucek
Winger Ukrainian national team Alexey Gutsulyak was injured in the first half of the match with Czech Republic V Nations League 2024/25.
After a corner kick in the 18th minute, Gutsulyak collided with Czech captain Tomas Soucek. A couple of moments after this collision, the Czech team opened the scoring thanks to a precise strike from Lukas Cerv.
Gutsulyak himself left the field only on a stretcher, accompanied by medical services. Shakhtar winger Alexander Zubkov took the field instead.
Alexey Gutsulyak played his third match today as part of the Ukrainian national team. He previously appeared on the field in the Euro 2024 qualifying play-off match against Bosnia and Herzegovina (2:1), as well as in the previous 2024/25 Nations League match against Georgia (1:0).
The Ukraine-Czech Republic match in Wroclaw started at 21:45 Kyiv time. During the first half, Sergei Rebrov’s team lost with a score of 0:1.
