The 19-year-old centerback has been a stable starter for the Kiev team this season.
President Dynamo Igor Surkis Laconically responded to information according to which his club rejected the offer before the closure of the summer transfer window Porto on the transfer of a central defender Taras Mikhavko in the amount of 10 million euros.
When asked directly whether this was true, Igor answered briefly: “No.”
19-year-old Mikhavko, whose contract with the Kiev team runs until 2028, made his debut for Dynamo’s main team in the spring part of the 2023/24 season. In the current 2024/25 season, the center back played 13 matches for the Kiev team in all tournaments, scoring one goal.
Now Mikhavko is at the disposal of the Ukrainian U-21 national team, for which last Friday he scored a goal in the match with England U-21 (1:2) in the qualification for Euro 2025.
Dynamo is the leader of the UPL – Alexander Shovkovsky’s team has 22 points after 8 matches. The white-blues will play their next match on October 19 away against Obolon. The capital’s derby will be judged by a team led by Viktor Kopievsky.
