The Ukrainian national team closes the standings of its group, having only 4 points scored.
Head coach Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrov summed up the matches Nations League 2024/25 against Georgia (1:0) and the Czech Republic (1:1).
“The 4 points gained in this October camp leaves us with a chance to continue the fight for promotion to Division A of the Nations League in the last two group matches in November.”
“It’s a shame that we couldn’t bring yesterday’s game to a winning conclusion, but I would also like to note and thank the team for their reaction after conceding the goal until the very end of the match.”
“The situation in our group means we will only be targeting wins in both meetings next month.”
“And of course, I join everyone in wishing the fastest and most complete recovery to Alexey Gutsulyak after his terrible collision with the Czech national team player.”
Ukraine has four points after four rounds and closes the standings of Quartet 1 in Division B. Note that Sergei Rebrov’s team scored all the points in October: a draw with the Czech Republic (1:1) and a victory over Georgia (1:0).
In November, Ukraine will have two final matches of the 2024/25 Nations League. The Blue-Yellows will face Georgia on November 16 in Batumi, and Albania on November 19 in Tirana.
