Blancos are ready to part with one of their leaders for the sake of the German
Real interested in midfielder Bayer Florian Wirtz.
The Germany international is a priority target for Blancos. In connection with the potential purchase of Wirtz, Real are ready to part with one of their three players: Vinicius Junior, Arda Guler or Rodrigo.
The 21-year-old midfielder has scored six goals and provided one assist in 10 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen this season. The 21-year-old midfielder’s current contract with the Leverkusen club, extended two years ago, runs until the summer of 2027.
At the same time, the Leverkusen club expects to extend the contract with Wirtz. The idea of the Pharmacists’ management is to offer Florian an extension of the agreement until 2028 (at least).
Bayer is in fifth place in the Bundesliga: Xabi Alonso’s team has matches ahead of Eintracht Frankfurt and Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga, between which there will be a meeting against Brest in the Champions League.
Real are in second place in La Liga with 21 points. Carlo Ancelotti’s team will play the next Spanish Championship match with Celta on October 19.
