Blancos are considering both a loan option and long-term cooperation with the 18-year-old player
Madrid Real plans to sign 18-year-old defender Chelsea by Josh Acheampong.
Blancos are looking for a replacement for the injured Dani Carvajal. The situation for Madrid became more complicated after the injury of 17-year-old reserve defender Joan Martinez.
Real Madrid is considering both a short-term transfer of Acheampong in the form of a loan until the end of the season, and long-term cooperation. Blancos see the Englishman as a player for the team’s future project. It is reported that Chelsea does not want to sell their pupil, but Madrid want to check possible transfer options in the winter.
Acheampong plays for the Blues youth team. The defender played four matches in all competitions this season, scoring one assist. Josh has experience playing for the England youth team.
Real are in second place in La Liga with 21 points. Carlo Ancelotti’s team will play the next Spanish Championship match with Celta on October 19.
