In September, Skapintsev signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Celtics. The Exhibit 10 agreement is for one year, has a minimum salary and can include bonuses of up to $75,000. The Ukrainian made his debut for the Celtics in a match with the Denver Nuggets.

The 2024-25 NBA regular season begins on October 22. Defending champion Boston will host the Knicks in their first match on the night of October 23.
