Juventus filed an appeal against the court’s decision on monetary compensation for Ronaldo

A new meeting is scheduled for March 2025

Juventus filed appeal on a court decision on monetary compensation for the Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo. The first Labor Tribunal hearing will take place in March 2025.

Let us recall that in April the Arbitration Court ruled that Juventus is obliged to pay its former player Cristiano Ronaldo an amount of 9.77 million euros. Cristiano’s claim included an amount of 19.5 million, which was formed as a result of two unpaid salaries at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The arbitration court ruled by a majority vote that responsibility should be divided equally between the player and the club, so Juventus is obliged to pay its ex-forward half of the declared amount.

Ronaldo played for Juventus for three seasons, from 2018 to 2021. As part of the Zebras, he played 134 matches, scored 101 goals, and gave 22 assists. The Portuguese won five trophies with the Bianconeri, including two Serie A victories.

Juventus is third in Serie A with 13 points. The next match will see the Bianconeri host Lazio on October 19.
