The Kiev team came back from 2-4, but missed the fifth goal at the end of the third period
Falcon lost to Italy on the road Ritten in the first round of group C of the second round Continental Cup 2024/25 in hockey – 4:5.
The Kiev team opened the scoring at the beginning of the first period, Viktor Zakharov scored. The Italians managed to come back, and at the beginning of the second 20 minutes they took the lead. Ruslan Romashenko then equalized the score, but the hosts managed to score two more goals.
Within 38 seconds of the start of the third period, Sokol managed to come back and equalize the score again. The last word went to Ritten, who converted the majority four and a half minutes before the end of regulation time.
Sokol takes third place in Quartet C. In another match of the group, Slovenian Jesenice beat Croatian Sisak – 3:1.
In the second round of Group C, Sokol will play against Jesenice on October 19, followed by Sisak on Sunday, October 20. The winner of the quartet will advance to the next round of the Continental Cup.
