Bumblebees climb to fourth place in the Bundesliga
Borussia Dortmund won at home over St. Pauli in the opening match of the 7th round Bundesliga – 2:1.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first half, but Morgan Gilavoga’s goal was disallowed for offside. And in the 43rd minute Borussia took the lead – Rami Bensebaini finished off Pascal Gross’ cross.
Towards the end of the match, St. Pauli fought back through the efforts of Eric Smith, but Serou Guirassi quickly returned the advantage to the Bumblebees.
Borussia Dortmund scored 13 points and temporarily moved up to fourth place in the Bundesliga. St. Pauli is in 16th position with 4 points.
On October 22, Borussia will play away against Real Madrid in the Champions League, and on October 26, the Bumblebees will play away against Augsburg in the Bundesliga. St. Pauli will host Wolfsburg on October 26.
