The Ukrainian centerback scored his debut goal in Columbus
On the night of October 20, the final match of the regular season took place. MLS — Columbus beat on the road New York Red Bulls (3:2).
Columbus scored twice by the 14th minute – first, a goal from Isel Jackson, and then an accurate shot from Ukrainian defender Evgeniy Cheberko allowed the guests to make a good start for a future victory. The same teams made up the pair of 1/8 finals of the MLS playoffs – matches between Columbus and the New York Red Bulls will be held on October 26 and November 2. The winner of the pair will play in the quarter finals with the winner of the duel between Cincinnati and New York City.
