Ten Hag says he could have replaced all Manchester United players at half-time against Brentford

Head Coach”Manchester United » Eric ten Hag said his team played naïve football in the Premiership game against “Brentford noting that during the break he could replace all the players.

Manchester United lost 0-4 away to Brentford on Saturday, having conceded four goals in the 35th minute.

— I replaced three (during the break), but I was able to replace them all. We wanted to bring some new energy into the game, there was nothing special about the ones we took out of the field. Today we played naively, we have to act more directly.

You may have a plan, but we threw it in the trash. It has nothing to do with tactical objectives. The players followed my instructions but made the wrong decisions. It’s football, it’s a game of mistakes, we were punished,” said ten Hag, as quoted by Sky Sports.

The Manchester team have suffered two defeats in two rounds of the Premier League and are in last place in the standings. Manchester United last lost to Brentford in 1938.
