LeBron And Bronny James became the first father-son duo to play in an official match NBA.
Bronny’s debut came in the opening match of the 2024/25 regular championship between Los Angeles Lakers And Minnesota Timberwolves (110:103). In almost three minutes on the floor, James Jr. scored with one rebound. His father had 16 points, five rebounds, two steals and four assists.
Let us remember that at the end of June the Lakers selected Bronny in the second round of the NBA draft with the 55th pick. James Jr., who turned 20, signed a guaranteed rookie contract.
LeBron, 39, signed a two-year contract extension with the Lakers in July. James will be playing his 23rd career NBA season. The forward will become the absolute NBA record holder for this indicator, surpassing Vince Carter’s achievement.
