A referee team from the Netherlands has been appointed for the Europa League match.

On Thursday, October 24, Roma will meet Dynamo in the third round of the main stage of the Europa League.

According to UEFA’s official website, a team of referees from the Netherlands, led by 38-year-old Serdar Gözübüyük, has been appointed for this match.

He will be assisted on the lines by compatriots Erwin Zeinstra and Johan Balder, and the fourth referee will be Sander van der Eyck. Dennis Higler will be in charge of the VAR, with Erwin Blank as his assistant.

Previously, Gözübüyük officiated one match each involving Dynamo and Roma. The Kiev team, under his refereeing, lost to French Rennes 0:1 in the group stage match of the Europa League of the 2022/23 season. The Romans, in the debut of the Conference League in the 2021/22 season, lost to the Norwegian Bodo/Glimt in the first quarterfinals by 1:2, but eventually won the tournament.
