Parma has extended the contract with head coach Pecchia until the summer of 2027

The 51-year-old specialist has been heading the club since 2022

Head coach Parma Fabio Pecchia extended his contract with the club until the summer of 2027. According to the President of Parma Kayla Krause — Pecchia is the ideal person for the club project.

“I’m glad that we extended the contract with the coach. Fabio has played a fundamental role in the growth of our club. I enjoy every moment I spend with him, he is a special person. In terms of the cohesion of the players, their performance, from a tactical point of view and everything else, I can only say that he is the ideal person to share our future with.”

The contract extension came against the backdrop of disappointing recent results for Parma, which has not tasted victories in Serie A for six rounds and is now in 17th place in the standings.

Fabio Pecchia has led Parma since the summer of 2022. Under his leadership, the club returned to the elite division at the end of last season, now having one of the youngest squads in Serie A.

Parma will play their next match on October 27 – they will host Empoli at home.
