In November, the Mancunians could get a new head coach.

Manchester United have held “secret talks” with several candidates for the post of head coach, reports the Daily Mail.

According to the source, 10 days ago a four-member delegation led by Manchester United director general Omar Berrada flew to Barcelona to talk to Xavi.

The list of potential replacements for Erik ten Hag also includes current Sporting head coach Ruben Amorim, ex-Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic and Brentford head coach Thomas Frank.

If ten Hag does not improve the results of the team, then during the international break in November, the option to dismiss him will be considered.

The Dutch coach himself continues to say that he is “on the same page” with the leadership of the Red Devils.

Manchester United is in 12th place in the Premier League with 11 points after 8 rounds. In the Europa League, the team drew three times in the three rounds of the tournament.
