The 35-year-old German center back has yet to make his debut for the Romans.
Defender Roma Mats Hummels could leave the club in the winter transfer window.
Hummels moved to Roma as a free agent in early September. His last club was Borussia Dortmund, for whom he played from 2007 to 2016, and after three seasons in Bayern he returned again, playing for the Bumblebees from 2019 to 2024.
Last season, Hummels was an important part of the Dortmund club, which reached the Champions League final, losing there to Real Madrid (0:2). For his high level of play, Mats was included in the list of candidates for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, which also included Hummels’ Ukrainian teammate at Roma Artem Dovbik.
The 35-year-old center back has yet to make his debut for Roma – Hummels has been on the bench in seven matches. The player himself was confident that he would play for the Romans in the match against Dynamo (1:0) in the Europa League, but again spent the entire match on the bench.
Roma will play their next match today, October 27, away against Fiorentina. Start – at 21:45 Kyiv time.
