Mladen Bartulovic’s team had the advantage in the first half and were able to convert it just before the break. Already in stoppage time, a controversial episode arose in the Kiev penalty area. The referees spent some time reviewing the video replay before finally awarding the penalty. As a result, Philip Budkovsky converted the 11-meter shot at 45+9 minutes.
