Zorya beat Left Bank in a match with penalties in the 11th round of the UPL

Mladen Bartulovic’s team scored the first goal in the ninth added minute of the first half

Zarya beat Left bank in the away match of the 11th round Ukrainian Premier League – 2:0.

Mladen Bartulovic’s team had the advantage in the first half and were able to convert it just before the break. Already in stoppage time, a controversial episode arose in the Kiev penalty area. The referees spent some time reviewing the video replay before finally awarding the penalty. As a result, Philip Budkovsky converted the 11-meter shot at 45+9 minutes.

Six minutes after the break, Alexander Yatsyk scored the second goal of the match. Left Bank spent the rest of the match trying to win back, but failed to save the match.

Zorya scored 15 points and takes sixth place in the UPL. The left bank has 8 points and is in 14th line.

In the next match, Zorya will play against Shakhtar on October 30 in the Ukrainian Cup. Left Bank will meet Karpaty on November 2 in the Ukrainian Championship.
