The ex-Italy national team striker became a free agent
Former Italy striker Mario Balotelli officially became a new player Genoa. The forward will play in the new club under number 45.
Mario signed as a free agent. It was previously reported that the 34-year-old football player’s contract will run until the end of the current season. The salary will be 250 thousand euros + bonuses.
The Italian striker was without a club after leaving Adana Demirspor in the summer. In Italy, the forward last played for Monza in the 2020/21 season. It was reported that Torino was interested in Mario’s services – the Bulls are looking for a replacement for Duvan Zapata, who is out for the rest of the season due to a meniscus and cruciate ligament injury.
Genoa, which has recently been unable to help injured Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky, is in 18th place in Serie A with six points from nine rounds. The Griffins will next face Fiorentina on October 31st.
