In the voting, Pedri was ahead of Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid), Luka Sučić (Real Sociedad), Vitor Roque (Betis) and Pablo Barrios (Atlético Madrid).
Throughout October, the 21-year-old Barcelona midfielder played three matches in La Liga, scoring one goal. All these matches ended in crushing victories for Hans-Dieter Flick’s team (3:0 over Alaves, 5:1 against Sevilla and a 4:0 away defeat of Real Madrid in El Clasico).
In total, this season Pedri played 14 matches in all tournaments, scoring 3 goals and 2 assists.
