Enzo Mareschi’s team conceded twice in the 26th minute

The hosts took the lead midway through the first half – Alexander Isak scored with a precise shot. Three minutes later the Magpies doubled their lead thanks to an own goal from Axel Disasi.
Chelsea tried to return to the game after the break, but Enzo Mareschi’s experimental squad failed to achieve the desired result in the match.
Ukrainian Chelsea winger Mikhail Mudryk entered the starting lineup and played the entire 90 minutes on the field.
Newcastle will play their next match on November 2 at home against Liverpool, and Chelsea will face Manchester United away on November 3.
