The young and talented player’s partnership with the greatest club in Germany will continue.
Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala has confirmed negotiations with the club over a new long-term contract.
The current agreement between the parties is valid until the summer of 2026 and they intend to extend it.
“Yes, I’m thinking about (a contract extension) We are negotiating and I’m happy here,” The Athletic quotes the footballer as saying.
A new contract for Musiala is one of Roten’s management priorities, as Munich team directors Max Eberl and Christoph Freund have repeatedly said.
This season, the 21-year-old German has taken part in 11 matches for Bayern in all competitions, scoring 7 goals and 4 assists.
Unlike Musiala, Bayern is not negotiating a contract extension with Thomas Müller, who could head to MLS next summer.
