Football player “Torpedo” Denis Zamyatin disqualified for spitting on the referee, completely repents of his actions, after the match he spoke with the referee, they have no complaints against each other, the press service told from the Miass club.
On Sunday, Miass Torpedo tied with Krasnodar-2 (1:1) in the Second League match. Zamyatin was sent off in the 45th minute. The Control and Disciplinary Commission of the Russian Football Union (KDK RFU) disqualified Zamyatin for six Second League matches, three of which were suspended, for spitting on the main referee of the match, Artem Kataykin.
— The network began to broadcast information about the results of the CDC meeting, where the episode of the elimination of our footballer Denis Zamyatin during the last home match against the Krasnodar-2 team was considered.
Recall that in the 45th minute of the match Zamyatin received a yellow card for emotional behavior. Then came the key episode of the meeting. Chief referee Artyom Kataykin sent off Zamyatin for “spitting on the chief referee”. After the match, the Torpedo football club carefully reviewed this episode. What we discovered: indeed, there was spitting, but not against the main referee of the match, but out of frustration. After all, for Denis it is a quadruple yellow card, which means he automatically misses the next match. At the end of the match, Zamyatin and Kataykin spoke in a calm atmosphere and had no complaints against each other. Kataykin expressed the same thing at a CDC meeting. Zamyatin completely repents of his actions. He understands the seriousness and consequences.
We understand why and why the news is now making headlines. But we believe this horrific episode is not worthy of such attention from the sports community. It is better to pay attention to positive things: victories, beautiful goals or saves, the emergence of new young football stars,” the Torpedo press service told .
The Miass club takes 2nd place in the silver group ranking of the Second League A.
