Lazio beat Como away in a high-scoring match with two penalties

The teams scored six goals between them

Lazio beat Como in the away match of the 10th round Italian Championship – 5:1.

The Eagles scored twice in the first half. First, Valentin Castellanos converted a penalty, and three minutes later 37-year-old Pedro increased the visitors’ advantage.

After the break, Luca Mazzitelli reduced the gap in the score, but the guests did not have enough to do more. In the middle of the second half, both teams were left with ten men: Matthias Brauneder and Nuno Tavares received red cards.

Before the end of the match, Lazio scored three more goals (Patrick Gabbaron, Castellanos and Lum Chauna) and achieved a confident victory. The Eagles climbed to fifth place in Serie A, behind Atalanta and Fiorentina on additional indicators.

Como suffered its fifth defeat in the championship and is in 15th position with nine points.

In the next round on November 4, Lazio will host Cagliari, and Como will play Empoli away.
