Thiago Motta’s team scored twice by half-time
The match of the 11th round of the Italian Serie A — Juventus beat away Udinese (2:0).
The Turin side opened the scoring in the 19th minute – Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye scored an own goal. At the end of the half, Juventus doubled their lead – 21-year-old defender Nicolo Savona scored his debut goal in Serie A.
Thanks to these three points, Juventus surpassed Atalanta and Fiorentina, rising to third place in the Serie A standings. Udinese, in turn, suffered its third defeat in the last four rounds – the Zebras are based in seventh place.
Juventus will play their next match on November 6 in the Champions League against Lille, followed by the Turin derby against Torino on November 9 in Serie A. Udinese will play an away match against Atalanta a day later.
