Lyudmila Kichenok And Elena Ostapenko started with a defeat on Final WTA tournament in Saudi Arabian Riyadh. The Ukrainian-Latvian duo was defeated by a couple Katerina Sinyakova (Czech Republic) / Taylor Townsend (USA).
The match lasted 1 hour and 38 minutes. In the opening game, L. Kichenok and Ostapenko made two breaks against one of their opponents, achieving a victory with a score of 6:3.
Lyudmila and Elena also started the second set with a winning game on their opponents’ serve, but quickly lost their advantage. Sinyakova and Townsend took four games in a row, winning 6:3 in the end.
