Real Madrid has put up for auction at Sotheby’s the old dressing room that the team had at the Santiago Bernabeu before its reconstruction, ESPN reports.

According to the source, the starting price for each of the 24 lockers, which will bear the names and photos of the players who own them, will be 10 thousand pounds.

The locker room was used from 2001 to 2022. The lockers will be auctioned in the same condition they were in during the 2021/22 season, when Los Blancos won La Liga and the Champions League.

The lockers come with a certificate of authenticity and a list of players who have used them for two decades.

According to Sotheby’s, during this period, 544 Real Madrid home matches were played at the Santiago Bernabeu and 20 trophies were won, including six Champions League and six La Liga titles.

A portion of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the club’s charitable foundation.

A 3-meter-wide mosaic with the emblem of Real Madrid, which used to stand at the entrance to the dressing room, is also up for auction: the starting price is 12 thousand.

The items will be on display in London from November 20 to 26, with bidding starting on November 12 and running for two weeks.
