The Ukrainian goalkeeper made several excellent saves, conceding only one goal
Bavaria minimally won on home field Benfica in the fourth round Champions League – 1:0.
In the first half, the Munich team had a total advantage and made 10 shots (5 on target) at the opponent’s goal, but Benfica’s Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin acted reliably.
After the break, Trubin made several more saves, but Bayern still achieved their goal. Jamal Musiala finished off Harry Kane’s cross and brought victory to the German giants.
For Trubin, this match was the 14th this season as part of the Eagles. Let us remind you that the goalkeeper has been called up to the Ukrainian national team for the November Nations League matches against Georgia and Albania.
Bayern scored six points and moved up to 17th place in the overall standings. The Munich team overtook Benfica, which dropped to 19th position.
In the next round, Bayern will host PSG on November 26, and Benfica will meet Monaco away on November 27.
