Local journalists should study geography.

In the 4th round of the Champions League, Benfica lost to Bayern.

After the match, the Portuguese publication A Bola took a commentary from Anatoly Trubin, who became one of the main characters of the match.

The source made a serious mistake in the design of the material, calling Anatoly a “Russian goalkeeper.”

“The Russian goalkeeper says he always tries to keep the goal locked,” the news subhead read along with Trubin’s words.

We remind you that Trubin made nine saves and conceded only one goal in the match in Munich.

In the past, UEFA designated Russia as the country of birth of one of the players of the Ukrainian national team, however, later it turned out that he was actually born there.
