Ukrainian football players will play in Division B of the tournament.
On Thursday, November 7, the draw for the UEFA Women’s Nations League took place, after which the Ukrainian national team welcomed its opponents.
The Ukrainian national team is in Group 4 of Division B, where it will play with the Czech Republic, Croatia and Albania, the UAF press service reports.
It is worth noting that the Ukrainians have almost the same national teams as their opponents as the “blue-yellow” in a similar men’s tournament, where Sergei Rebrov’s team also competes in League B in the group with the Czechs, Albanians and Georgians.
The group stage will determine which four teams from League A will progress to the final stage, as well as who will be promoted and relegated between leagues ahead of European qualifying for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
The winners of League B and C groups will move to League A and B in the next round, the bottom teams of League A, B and the two worst third teams of League B will be relegated to League B and C, respectively respectively. The playoffs will feature League A’s third teams against League B’s second teams, League B’s two best third teams against League C’s two best teams.
Nations League group stage matches will be played from February to June 2025.
We remind you that earlier the women’s football team of Ukraine reached the second round of the Euro 2025 qualifying playoffs.
