The midfielder of Ukrainian origin plays for the Red Devils youth team
Midfielder Manchester United Zachary Baumann received a passport citizen of Ukraine.
17-year-old Zach has Ukrainian roots, but was born in Bolton, England. Baumann has been playing for the Red Devils since childhood.
“I am very glad that I have finally become a citizen of Ukraine and can now represent my country on the international stage. There is excitement, but a positive one, because I feel the support of many people. I can’t wait to meet the team. And forward to our victory! And not just on the football field,” Baumann said.
Baumann plays for Manchester United U-18. This season, the midfielder has played nine matches for the team in all competitions, including coming on as a substitute in the UEFA Youth League. Zakhar scored one goal and gave one assist.
