The Ukrainian forward was left with a zero at the end of the list of 30 applicants.
On Friday, November 8, the official voting results for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, won by Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri, were published.
This year, Ukrainian national team striker Artem Dovbik was included in the list of 30 candidates for the prize from France Football magazine. This is a rare achievement for the player, because for the first time since 2006, since 2004 Ballon d’Or winner Andrei Shevchenko, a Ukrainian football player is among the contenders for the most prestigious individual award.

However, Girona’s top scorer in La Liga did not receive a single point in the voting. The Ukrainian striker took 29th place.
However, the same fate happened to the finalist of the Champions League in Borussia Dortmund, and now Dovbik’s teammate in Rome, the German Mats Hummels, reports L’Équipe.
Previously, Dovbik appreciated his participation in the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony.
