Recently, the Moroccan suffered a serious injury, due to which he was out for at least three months
Leverkusen Bayer officially announced a contract extension with the winger Amin Adli until the summer of 2028.
Two weeks ago, information appeared that the Pharmacists intend to extend the agreement with the 24-year-old Moroccan, whose contract with the club expired at the end of the 2025/26 season. And this despite the serious injury that the footballer received on October 23, in the match with Brest (1:1) in the third round of the group stage of the Champions League.
Amin was diagnosed with a fracture of the fibula of his left leg. He underwent surgery and will return to action no earlier than the end of January.
Adli has played 12 matches for the Leverkusen club this season without scoring any goals. In the championship, he usually comes on as a substitute – only two appearances in the first team out of seven.
Bayer is in fifth place in the Bundesliga standings. Tomorrow, November 9, Xabi Alonso’s team will play away against Bochum – the worst team in the championship, gaining only one point in nine rounds.
