About the best personalities and main figures of the tour – here.

INratar – Daniil Varakuta (Metalist 1925)

The Kharkiv goalkeeper took five shots – twice from Knysh, once each from Sasovsky, Lebedenko and Shpirenko. These were different game situations: long-range shots, sharp attacks directly at the goalkeeper, well-played combinations and spontaneous individual raids. It is a fact that Victoria, even without the opportunity to play in her native Sumy, gave a real fight to the opponent with the best selection of players. However, the newcomer of Metalist 1925 Varakuta, who was the leader in the number of saves in the UPL last season, confirms his reputation and set a record in the PFL season in the First League, bringing the “dry” streak to 487 minutes – and it lasts.

  • Best in Group A: Ilya Olkhovoy (Niva, Ternopil)

PrFirst defender – Nikolai Buzhin (SK Poltava)

Poltava had a difficult match in the regional derby with the outsider Kremlin: there were moments when the nominal hosts could have taken the lead in Gorishni Plavni, and Buzhin had a misunderstanding with Missyura, which, fortunately for the guests, went unpunished. It’s good that this was an exception, because Nikolai acted well and the high-speed flanks of the Kremenchu team played less effectively than they could. Buzhin himself connected well forward. In the first half, he shot after being displaced (the ball was blocked), then made a number of good passes, to which Marusic, Vivdic and Perebora responded.

  • Best in Group A: Andrey Bay (Niva, Ternopil)

Tsecentral defender – Vladislav Moroz (Epicenter)

The trip to Ivano-Frankivsk could not be easy for Epicenter, even in view of the numerous losses of the hosts (defender Boldenkov, all-rounder Demkov, attacking midfielder Tsyutsyur – these are weighty, important players in Prykarpattya). However, the guests kept a clean sheet, and the Moroz-Grigorashchuk pairing mostly coped with its job. the main threat came from outside the penalty area. Vladislav also successfully connected to the set piece and scored the winning goal against the hosts.

  • Best in Group B: Maxim Imerekov (Metalist 1925)

Tsecentral defender – Dmitry Sabiev (Flint)

With the simultaneous exit of the trio Dikhtyaruk-Arkusha-Sabiev, Kremen created a good “trap” for one of the leaders. Without Shcherbak, SK Poltava played more straightforwardly, and here the efforts of the Vivdich-Streltsov-Marusich trio were offset by the well-organized defensive unit of the nominal hosts. Not always with skill and composure, but with dedication and mutual support, they blocked their opponents and thwarted attacks even without blows (a striking example is how Sabiev took the ball off Plakhtyr’s foot). In general, Dmitry is gradually progressing and can become an asset in this confrontation due to the large number of rebounds and won duels.

  • Best in Group A: Stepan Grigorashchuk (Epicenter)

Levath defender – Maxim Mudry (Niva, Ternopil)

Niva came to visit the leader with a slightly restructured defensive line, in particular, the places of flank defenders were occupied by Bay and Mudry – well known from their performances in other positions. Despite the high quality of Agribusiness’ attacks through the edges with the ball delivered to the tall, powerful Voytikhovsky, Mudry managed to cover up a lot of the sharpness that Gavrushko usually gives in conjunction with Kasimov or other leaders. Moreover: Maxim himself regularly joined in the attacks, in particular, he played a key role in the moment when, after his drop shot, the ball bounced to the winner who scored the winning goal.

  • Best in Group B: Vasily Kravets (Metalist 1925)

Tsecentral midfielder – Nikita Sytnikov (YUKSA)

It is difficult to identify just one, because many centers played well or better at the same level. Let’s mention Sytnikov to pay tribute to YUKSA’s victory in the match with Dinaz, who is quite good in name and midfield class. Nikita not only did a lot of work, but also blocked Voloshin, after his struggle and rebound, Debelko scored almost from the center of the field (see the “Tour Goal” nomination). Without Evdokimov and Castro, the middle line of the “crusaders” remained vulnerable, but Sytnikov did a lot to maintain the level.

  • Best in Group A: Vitaly Koltsov (Bukovyna)

Prav midfielder – Bohdan Boychuk (Bukovyna)

Boychuk is having an excellent period – recently it was his goal that brought the Chernivtsi team the first place in the club’s history in the quarter finals of the Ukrainian Cup, and now Bogdan actually scored the winning goal against Metalist, which brought Bukovina into the Champions group. Boychuk was active, interacted well with his teammates, but mostly played along (at first Golub and Goncharuk were more noticeable). But after the break, Bogdan could have scored earlier, but he took advantage of an excellent diagonal pass from Golub. In total, he already has five effective actions in the championship and cup (3+2 for a goal+assist).

  • Best in Group B: Vladislav Nekhtiy (FC Kudrovka)

Atattacking midfielder – Vladlen Yurchenko (Metalist 1925)

A very important nominally away match was won by Metalist 1925 against the Sumy team – the fate of early tickets to the Champions group was largely determined; under no circumstances was it possible to lose points at the end of the first stage. It’s good that Yurchenko played at a high level. Vladlen himself shot at Victoria’s goal, and at the right moment received a scoring action through an assist – he supported a good attack with the participation of Boryachuk, giving him the fifth assist (this moment was included in all collections as one of the most spectacular in the reporting round).

  • Best in Group A: Vladislav Buchakchiysky (Prykarpattya)

Lefirst midfielder – Andrey Boryachuk (Metalist 1925)

It is worth noting the progress of Boryachuk, who not in the position of a striker, but in the place of a left winger, won serious competition and in the last rounds looked great against Metalist 1925. In the match against Victoria, a direct competitor and a team with a well-organized defensive unit, Andrei was on the promising positions, he could have scored earlier from Moura’s pass. And in the second half, Boryachuk took advantage of Yurchenko’s excellent pass, broke into a striking position and brought victory to the Kharkiv team with his goal.

  • Best in Group A: Daniil Golub (Bukovina)

Onfalling – Andrey Riznyk (Niva, Ternopil)

For the third round in a row, Riznyk’s goals bring Niva invaluable points. The captain plays with inspiration: he constantly moves, looks for the ball in a huge area of the field, is not lazy to drop down and play on rebounds and rebounds. In Volochisk, Andrei scored just like that: he waited for the moment when, after Mudry’s shot, the ball hit the opponent and bounced back to him, then Riznyk sent the ball under the post with a good shot. The active striker bothered Pidkivka several times with targeted shots, and could also have become a co-author of the goal when he redirected the pass to Galadei (he was ahead of his opponent – the nominal defender Voytikhovsky, who plays in attack, but managed to insure his team).

  • Best in Group B: Wendy “Wawa” Guerreiro (YUKSA)

Onfalling – Roman Debelko (YUKSA)

YuKSA has a good goal-scoring striker, Wendy, nicknamed “Vava,” and several attacking midfielders or wingers can cover the position in the center of attack if necessary. However, even with such a selection of players, the acquisition of experienced center forward Debelko can be considered not just justified – but excellent. Roman imposes and wins the fight, fights and looks for a chance. It was he who quickly got his bearings in a game situation with a rebound, throwing a direct shot over the experienced goalkeeper Dinaz Bandura from a distance. And later Debelko earned a penalty under the goal of the Brazilian Wendy. This is an excellent match between the ex-striker of Krivbass, Karpaty and a number of other domestic and foreign clubs.

Best in Group A: Ivan Demidenko (Epicenter)

Tour coach – Yuri Virt (Niva, Ternopil)

Niva came out of the game crisis with great difficulty, and until the 15th round she had to wait for Virtue’s first victory. However, as things went, so they went: on the reporting day of the game, the Ternopil team won an extremely important match away from the leader. Even though Agribusiness qualified ahead of schedule and did not have exceptional tournament motivation, even though the head coach himself was disqualified and his assistant Nikolai Lapko was in charge of the game from the technical area, but the team managed to cope. Team captain Riznyk scored for the third round in a row, Virt continued his unbeaten streak against Agribusiness, and Niva beat Volochishchan for the first time since the summer of 2021 – that is, the beginning of the full-scale phase of the war.

Joker of the tour – Artem Legostaev (FC Kudrovka)

We note again that the players coming off the bench are doing very well. Wendy Vavazinho secured the advantage of YUKSA in Demidov with her goal, and in the hero city of Bucha, the only and winning goal was scored by the players with whom Vasily Baranov guessed correctly. FC Kudrovka defeated FSK Mariupol thanks to a goal scored by Artem Legostaev from a pass from Vladislav Nekhtiy. Needless to say, forward Legostaev is playing a classic joker game this season. Artem has four effective actions – all after coming on as substitutes. The Kudrov team got 10 points in matches when Legostaev famously came off the bench.

  • SportArena.com statistics: 15 league matches, 3 goals, 1 assist.

Best young player of the tour – Artem Matus (Kremin)

21-year-old Matus really helped his team out three times in the match against SK Poltava after shots from Streltsov, Marusich and Timenko. His contribution to the important draw with the recent group leader in the regional derby cannot be overestimated. Therefore, there is simply one fact: Kremen played for the second time in the championship without conceding goals, and it was Artem who chalked up the second “wedge-shield” in the current championship. Having gone through the Gornyak school, Matus, while still very young, attended such clubs as Agribusiness and Epicenter. But just these two seasons in Kremlin showed us that he is an already formed goalkeeper at the First League level who can be relied on.

  • SportArena.com statistics: 7 matches in the championship, 11 goals conceded, 2 clean sheets.
Goal of the round – Roman Debelko (YUKSA → Dinaz)

On the tour we had goals with a fifth assist (that’s us, of course, about the most trending moment of the weekwhen Kharkov resident Yurchenko passed the ball for Boryachuk’s goal against Victoria). However, even against the backdrop of such beauty, there is room for special heads. We quote the report: “In the 33rd minute the visitors scored out of nowhere. Andrei Voloshin in the center of the field hit Sytnikov directly, from whom the ball flew to Debelko. An experienced striker from outside the penalty area threw it to Bandura, who did not have time to return to the goal.”
