Vanderlei Luschenburgo believes that the gate in her country is not as connected to racism as she thinks.
Former Real Madrid coach Wanderlei Luchemburgo shared his thoughts on Vinicius Junior’s behaviour.
According to the Brazilian specialist, his compatriot does too much provocation on the field and because of this most of his players hate him.
“I think he causes a lot of anger by doing things he shouldn’t.
No, it has nothing to do with racism. Racism in football is treated differently.”
Luschenburgo recalled the episode in the semi-finals of the last Champions League, when Vinicius provoked Joshua Kimmich.
“I remember very politely an opponent handed him the ball and he threw it on the ground and the opponent returned it, but he threw it again and then he started mocking the player on the same club the opponent gave him the ball and he threw out.”
Finally, Wanderlei said that in his opinion Vinicius reacted too aggressively to the fouls against him.
“He got fouled and then Vini got up and hit the player like you can’t foul him. Imagine how many times Pele was fouled, imagine how many times Zico was fouled. He gets irritated by tackles, as if he is being bullied for being black,” concluded the Brazilian.
We remind you that it was previously reported that Real could sell Vinicius due to financial problems.
