The midfielder wants to take the field in at least one of the matches.
The midfielder of Brentford and the Ukrainian national football team Yegor Yarmolyuk shared his thoughts about his debut call-up to the senior national team.
According to Yarmolyuk, it is an honor for him to achieve such recognition.
“It was very pleasant I found out about the call from the national team manager, they called me and said that I recruited my relatives, shared it with them, my teammates and coach also congratulated me, everything is happy for me.
The players and coaches in the national team received me well, talked to me, and congratulated me. The best football players from all over the country are gathered here. While the youth team has more rotation, the national team has a complete squad.
It’s an honor to be here. For me, the victory in this training camp is my debut and win two matches. What number do you want? It’s too early to think about it, because I’m the youngest in the team. Whichever they give me, that’s what I’ll take.”

Egor also said if he expected to be called up to the adult national team earlier than it happened.
“Sergei Rebrov greeted me and said that everything will be fine. Did I expect the call earlier? All my time.
We flew here with Ilya Zabarny and Vitaly Mykolenko. I talk to them more because we play together in England. I am with them more often.
I liked the first training, we worked well, with good results. Regarding anxiety, I think that every person who gets into the national team will have anxiety in the first training session, at least,” the UAF press service quoted Yarmolyuk as saying.
Earlier, the team of referees for the match Georgia – Ukraine was determined.
