It should be noted that 17-year-old Manchester United midfielder Zachary Baumann made his debut for the Ukrainian national team, who received a Ukrainian passport in November of this year.
The Ukrainian U-19 national team plays in Group 1 of the Euro 2025 selection. On November 16th, Mikhailenko’s team will face Slovenia, and on the 19th – the Netherlands.
To qualify for the elite round of selection, the blue-yellows must take one of the first two places in their quartet. The chance to advance from third place is minimal – it will go to only one best team out of 13 groups.
