The 27-year-old French defender asks for a salary increase to eight million euros per season
Defender Milana Theo Hernandez cannot reach an agreement with the club on a contract extension.
The Frenchman’s current agreement with the Rossoneri runs until the summer of 2026. In the new contract, Theo asks to raise his salary to eight million euros per season.
The 27-year-old defender has been playing for Milan since 2019, having moved from Real Madrid for 22.8 million euros.
This is Theo’s sixth season in Milan. The player’s highest achievement with the club was winning the Scudetto in the 2021/22 season.
This season, Theo Hernandez played 13 matches for Milan, recording 2 goals and 2 assists.
Milan, led by Shakhtar ex-coach Paulo Fonseca, is seventh in the Serie A standings. The Rossoneri will play their next match on November 23 at home against Juventus.
