Alexey received his debut call to the ranks of the country’s main team
Defender of Lviv Rukha Alexey Sych commented on his debut call to the ranks Ukrainian national team.
“In the evening, Igor Mikhailovich Dedyshin called among me and congratulated me. I didn’t quite understand, so I asked what exactly it was. He asked: “What, don’t you know yet?” To which I replied that no. Then Igor Mikhailovich said that I had been called up to the Ukrainian national team.”
“The emotions were simply incredible. It’s great to get this opportunity! I have already talked with representatives of the national team on organizational issues and will soon go to the national team’s camp.”
“I know many of the guys from the youth and Olympic teams of Ukraine, when I played with them, and now they play for the main team of the country. Let us remind you that goalkeeper Andrei Lunin (family circumstances), midfielders Viktor Tsygankov (injury) and Vitaly Buyalsky (injury) will not help the national team in November.
It was also reported that the participation of forward Artem Dovbik is in question. Debutant Sych replaced his colleague in the role, Dynamo representative Alexander Tymchik.
Now Sergei Rebrov’s team is working in Belek, Turkey. The blue-yellows will train there until November 15, after which they will go to Batumi.
On Saturday, November 16, Ukraine will play with the Georgian national team. The meeting will take place at the Adjara Bet Arena. The game starts at 19:00 Kyiv time.
The match will be judged by the English team of referees led by Chris Kavanagh. The official broadcast of the fight will take place on the OTT platform MEGOGO, and Vadim Skichko and Sergey Lukyanenko will commentate on the game.
After a meeting with Willy Sagnol’s team, the blue-yellows will travel to Tirana, where they will meet Albania on November 19. Let us note that the Ukrainian national team now has four points and occupies last place in Group 1 of Division B of the League of Nations.
