Willy Sagnol said what should be changed compared to the first meeting with the Ukrainians in the League of Nations.

Georgia national team head coach Willy Sagnol shared his expectations from the match in the fifth round of the Nations League group stage against Ukraine.

According to the coach of the Georgian team, he wants his players to show more aggressiveness on the field compared to the first meeting with the Ukrainians, which ended in victory for the blue-yellows with a score of 1:0.

“Unfortunately, I cheated in mathematics at school. If we win two matches, we will be first, that’s all I can say that this is our goal – to be first or to win the match.

Our goal is to try to show our best abilities. In this case, you usually get something you deserve in the end. For me the most important game, I am not focused on the result, but on the individual and team play.

We always want to attack, but we don’t always succeed. Ukraine is a very strong team, they showed it last month. But before we think about attacking or scoring, we have to think about being more aggressive on the field than we showed in October. In this aspect we have failed. Therefore, I expect more aggressiveness from the players,” Suspilne Sport quoted Sagnol as saying.

We remind you that the Ukrainian national team will play against Georgia on Saturday, November 16, in the fifth round of the Nations League group stage in Batumi at the Adjara Bet Arena stadium. The starting whistle for the match will sound at 19:00 Kyiv time.
