Juventus officially announced the termination of Pogba’s contract

The reduction of the period of disqualification for doping did not convince the Bianconeri to continue working with the Frenchman.

Juventus confirmed on its official website the early termination of the contract of midfielder Paul Pogba, who was previously suspended for doping.

As the Bianconeri said in a statement, the club and the 31-year-old footballer have agreed to end their partnership by mutual consent. The player’s employment contract with the Turin team expires on November 30, 2024.

Juventus also wish the French midfielder all the best for his professional future.

It was previously reported that Pogba, who will receive free agent status, already has offers from MLS clubs and Saudi Arabia.

Let’s remember that last fall Pogba was caught for doping, after which he was suspended from football for four years. However, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) upheld the player’s appeal and reduced the ban to 18 months. The Frenchman will be able to return to the field in March 2025.

Pogba previously revealed he had the chance to move to Manchester City before returning to Juventus.
