Kyiv Locomotive officially announced the termination of cooperation with six football players. Team at the end of the first round season 2024/25 defenders left Daniil Sidorenko And Vladislav Blazunmidfielders Yaroslav Dobrokhotov And Bohdan Melnikas well as attack group players Daniil Yanyuk And Edward Kobak.
Four of them on this list (except for Sidorenko and Blazunya) joined the Second League club’s roster only this summer. And only two – Dobrokhotov and Kobak – were stable players in the main squad in the first part of the season. Yaroslav has 10 matches played; Edward, who has experience playing in the UPL for Minaj, has 12 appearances on the field and a goal scored.
Lokomotiv is spending its second season at the professional level. The capital team finished the first round of the current campaign in fifth place in Group B of the Second League – 17 points after 12 rounds, seven points behind the second place.
The off-season in the third-ranking division of professional Ukrainian football will be long. The Second League championship will resume in almost five months. Lokomotiv will host Chernigov in the opening match of 2025, the base date of the 13th round is April 11.
