The match in the fifth round of Group 2 Division C of the League of Nations, where Romania hosted Kosovo, ended in scandal.
The match, which took place in Bucharest, was delayed in stoppage time for the second half with the score 0:0 due to the behavior of the Romanian fans.

At the end of the match, local fans began shouting insults at the visiting team, throwing foreign objects onto the field and chanting pro-Serbian slogans, specifically, “Kosovo is Serbia.” The Serbian flag was also seen in the stands.

After these provocations, the Kosovar decided to leave the field at 90+3 minutes and went to the tribune room, and the game was delayed.

The referee’s pleas to return had no effect on the Kosovo players. Romanian players stayed on the field for some time, but also left, and finally the match was stopped.
